I hope everyone read my last post on Bblunt. Everyone knows about Fab Bag very well as its been in the market for quite a few years now.I discontinued the subscription last year after opting for 3 months but since It was New year thought of giving a try again.

Fab Bag is a monthly subscription bag which carries 2-3 sample sized products and 1-2 full sized products.It has something or the other for every girl out there.

They have some subscription plans which are monthly, 3 monthly, Half early and annual.You can choose them according to your need.

3 Month costs you Rs 1599.
6 Month costs you Rs 2899.
Annual costs you Rs 4999.

You got to try Different brands at a minimal price.Personally, I order 3 monthly plan as sometimes I tend to discontinue it according to my mood.The delivery generally takes place after 10th of every month.

All the products come in a Thick cardboard box which has a beautiful pouch inside which carries all products. The Pouches are really beautiful and you can use them later for keeping your makeup products,coins etc.

The pouch comes with customized card which has your Name and contents of the pouch.
It also comes with the Fab post which is like a mini magazine and has all details of how to use the products, discount codes, Mini DIY's which are really helpful.

BBlunt Full on Volume Conditioner for Fine Hair

I was thinking lately that i haven't done posts on hair care ever,though I have covered some of makeup and skincare But but not hair care.

The texture of my hair is very thin and after getting smoothening done, The texture of hair has become very thin and I always look for products which give Volume to my Hair and a nice texture.Since I had been using Tresseme Climate control conditioner for a long time really wanted to switch over to another conditioner.So,While shopping from Nykaa.com I came to know about this product BBLUNT FULL ON VOLUME CONDITIONER FOR FINE HAIR.

I was attracted to the cute packaging of this product.So lets go on with the Review.

Product Claims:

Specially designed for fine hair,this conditioner moisturizes without weighing your hair down.

Enjoy big,bouncy hair that feels alive.

Specially created for Indian Hair,colour protect.

Price:Rs 375 for 200g of product.

Directions to Apply:

Remove excess water after shampooing.Apply evenly to lengths and ends,avoiding the scalp.

Leave on it atleast for 3mins.Rinse throughly.

My Take on the Product:

Once I am done with shampooing the hair.I Rinse my hair with water and remove excess of it.Then,I take a dollop of product on my palm,warm it between my fingers and apply on the strands of the hair concentrating on the hair ends.The Texture of the product is thick and creamy and small amount goes a long way.The product is white in colour and has a mild smell.I leave this conditioner on my hair for 5 mins and then wash it off.Once I dry my hair and comb it ,I have noticed that my hair gets tangle free,there are minimal tangles in my hair.In terms of Volume I could not notice much difference but may be after couple of more uses I am able to see this difference.The hair becomes frizz free and manes look shiny and give a boost to the hair.So overall it is a good product in terms of quantity,price and the results.

Pros:

• Small amount is required for the complete hair.
• Hair feels shiny and frizz free.
• Tangles are reduced,

Cons:

• Could not notice much difference in terms of volume.

First of all I wish all of you a Very Happy New Year.May this New year bring lots of Prosperity and Happiness.I had been busy quite a while with work and all so could not write up a post lately.

Maybelline- Dream Lumi touch Highlighting Concealer

I hope you all checked my post on Nykaa Haul which i did lately In December.

Since I do night shifts so i commonly face the problem of Dark circles.Be It how many creams,eye serums or Natural stuff i use to diminish dark circles still they will show up and make me look like a Raccoon.

Whenever,I do my makeup Eye area really looks bit dull and dead so bought this concealer recently to give it a bit lift.

Product Claims:

• Illuminates hides imperfection.
• Gel based concealer illuminates shadows as it conceals.
• Skin looks instantly brighter

Price: Rs 600 for 1.5 ml of product.

Packaging:

It is a pen formed tube which has brush in the one end and twist up on the other end.It is a transparent pen in which you can actually see how much is the product left inside.To take out the product,you have to twist it from the bottom and the brush would get the product out which you can apply with the ease.The brush is also secured by a sturdy cap which shuts in a click and is Travel friendly.The shade no is written on the bottom of the pen.

Directions to apply:

• Twist bottom of the package until product appears on the brush(may take upto 10 twists the first time).
• Using Brush,apply concealer to under eye area and on imperfections.Blend in outward motion.

Application Tips:

• For a well rested look,apply around the inner corners of the eye.
• For a brighter complexion,apply to darker areas like the sides of nose and corners of mouth.

My Take on the Product:

I purchased this concealer online from Nykaa.com and got a good discount on it.It costed me around Rs 450 which was really a good deal.

I was Skeptical about the shade as there were 3 shades available in this range of concealer.Ivory,Buff and Honey.I thought Ivory would be too too bright for my skin tone as I am NC 40 in Mac.Thankfully,Buff and ivory was out in stock so thought of giving a chance to Honeymeil .

Honey is a nice shade it totally matches my skin tone and it gives such a fresh look to my under eye area and it makes it lifted(just what i wanted).

It smells like a foundation like any foundation would smell.

I twist the bottom of the pen 10-15 times and the product comes out from the brush at a go as once the product comes out you cannot have any control on the product which may lead to wastage as well

.The texture is really thick cream consistency which blends really well and you need to set up with the powder.I take the product around my eyes make an inverted triangle and dot the product all over,take it under my contours and around the mouth and blend well with my fingers.The product gets blended really well and matches the skin tone.The highlighted Area looks instantly brightened up and photographs really well.I set it with any compact and gives me a stay of around 5-7 hours.

Pros:

• The Pen like packaging is really travel friendly and helps to apply the product easily.
• The Brush makes the application very easy.
• The product is super blendable and gives an instant lift to the highlighted area.

Cons:

• You cannot control the amount of product coming out which may lead to product wastage.
• It settles into the fine lines which may accentuate the area.

Za Perfectening youth whitening serum

I was looking for a nice serum from a long period of time which was not that expensive and had good results.So while shopping from Nykaa.com I came across a brand ZA,so thought of giving a try as read good reviews about the product.

I really don't appreciate the term whitening in creams and lotions as it seems little biased to me.

Serum is a clear liquid which helps to clear blemishes,pigmentation and wrinkles giving youthful glow to the skin.

Product claims:

• Reduces excess melanin production and lightens pigmentation to eliminate dark spots and dullness.Achieves radiant,even toned skin.
• Reduces visible wrinkles caused by UV damage and aging.
• Targets on hidden dark spots and wrinkles.
• Maintains youthful radiant skin by approaching to future aging factors.
• Swiftly penetrates into the skin without leaving the trace of stickiness.

Price- Rs 1299 for 30ml.

Packaging:

It is a white glass bottle with a pink plastic cap which is very sturdy and shuts properly.It is a pump bottle which dispenses right amount of the product and 2 pumps go a long way for the complete face and neck area.The directions to apply are written on the bottle itself.Ingredients are described on the cardboard box with the outer packaging.The bottle is spill proof but little heavy to carry in a vanity case while travelling.

Directions to apply:

Smooth an appropriate amount over face with fingertip.Apply morning and evening, after lotion and before moisturizer.Push pump twice to dispense the serum onto palm and smooth over face.

My Take On The Product:

I started using this product 3 months back.I used to take 2 pumps of the product on my hand ,after applying toner patted the liquid on my face giving it a little massage and then followed by moisturizer.

The serum is clear liquid which is runny in texture and is absorbed by the skin very quickly.
In summers,the moisturizer can be skipped.But in winters moisturizer is a must.The liquid is not at all sticky and penetrates into the skin with much ease.I starting using this product 2 months back as I had issues with pigmentation at the left side of my cheek area,also had some little dotted freckles.When used the product for 2-3 weeks didn't noted much difference,I applied this serum during night and woke up with a clean and fresh skin.

At that point didn't notice much in appearance of my skin in terms of pigmentation.But after using it continuously for 1-1.5 months,I did notice that the spots faded away a bit making the skin firmer.Now i have already ordered another bottle of this serum to see the long terms effects.

After that i stopped using the product for 1 week.If anyone wants to buy this stuff I would recommend to use it continuously as it will only work If used properly with continuity.Overall,It is a budget friendly serum with nice properties which will definitely make your skin firmer.

Pros:

• The product is budget friendly and 30 ml can last you for 1.5 months if used regularly.
• Th packaging is sturdy and spill proof.
• It does gives youthful glow to the skin making it firm.
• Reduces pigmentation if used regularly.

Cons:

• You may not notice any visible difference in the texture of your skin in initial few weeks,
• Moisturizer is a must in winters.
• It claims whitening and personally I don't appreciate it.

The Body shop- Satsuma Body Puree

How are you all doing.Its been too long that I have written any post on the blog.

Work keeps me so occupied that it gets little difficult;t to update the blog.Today I am back with the review of my most favorite brand The body shop.

This had been my most favorite product of summer season I know I am little off the track as it is winters already but who doesn't likes to feel fresh and good in winters too.This is Satsuma body Puree.

Price- Rs 695 for 250ml.

Packaging:

 Its a sturdy plastic dispenser bottle which is transparent so that the product amount can be seen.The top of the bottle has a lock which makes it travel friendly.It has a fruit like appearance on the bottle which gives really a fresh feel.

My experience on the product:

The Body puree is an orangish peach coloured liquid which has a creamy consistency.When you dispense the liquid in your hand it feels very creamy yet light which blends on the skin beautifully.

The fragrance is like of fresh oranges and also products contain satsuma oil.

Satsuma belongs to the mandarin orange family It is a seedless easy to peel fruit.Satsuma oil gives an instant hydration and shimmering finish.

The little goes a long way.two pumps are good for arms and neck and same goes for legs.It feels really fresh when you apply on the skin and fragrance is citrusy fruity smell which lingers for a while then fades away.It does cumbers the dryness of the skin and skin remains moisturised for 4-5 hrs in winters and summers it lasts long.It is basically good lotion for summers and the quantity lasts for a long time.

Pros:

• It has beautiful invigorating fragrance which lingers for a while.
• The bottle is travel friendly
• It is good for dry skin and summer season.

Cons:

• It is expensive.
• It is not good for winter season.

The Body shop- Virgin Mojito Shower Gel

Festive season is around the corner and i had been so so delayed in writing the posts.

The November has begun and October faded away but there is one product which is constant in my routine and it is the shower Gel by The Body shop.

I bought this product in early October and had been using it everyday.So let's begun with the review.

This is the newly launched bath and body product and is limited edition so got my hands on it

Price: Rs 425 for 250ml of product.

Packaging:The packaging is like its usual sturdy bottles made up of plastic.It comes with the real nice flip flop cap nozzle on it for pouring the product.The packaging is spill proof and travel friendly.The bottle is a transparent see through bottle where you can see as to how much product is left in it.It has some mint leaves and lemon pattern going on the bottle which gives really a fresh feel while you are seeing the product.

My Experience on the product:
When you open the Bottle,you feel completely drowned in the beautiful fragrance of lime and mint.It truly claims to its name Virgin Mojito. It.It feels as if you are having the Virgin mojito and it makes you feel so fresh and good.The shower gel has invigorating fragrance yet subtle.It is a light Greenish liquid not too runny just right which is required for the shower gel to be.The moment you take the product on the loofah a tiny bit goes a long way and makes a rich lather out of it.It makes your skin squeaky clean and my bathroom smells really fresh while using it.
The smell lingers for a while on your body and hardly stays on for an hour or so and after that it fades away completely.I would have loved more if it would have stayed for few hours.The product really lasts long and little goes a long way.It doesn't makes skin too dry.
